Hello! I'm Lindsey...
...a freelance writer and editor living in Brooklyn, NY.
I also co-host a podcast with my friend Bobby called Who? Weekly. It has been described as “the only relevant celeb publication” and “the perfect podcast about celebrities who make you say Who?” Read more about it here.
In the past, I hosted Slate's Conundrums, the world's only(?) live virtual reality talk show. I did editorial work for Luminosity, as well as editing The Wing's magazine, No Man's Land. I worked as Deputy Editor to help launch MEL Magazine, a publication funded by the Dollar Shave Club. Before that, I was an Associate Editor at New York magazine's Vulture.com. I’ve also written for publications like The New York Times magazine, Eater, Racked, Billboard, Glamour, Marie Claire, The FADER, The Wirecutter, Atlas Obscura and The Awl. See some of my work here.
Back in the day, I also co-ran a production company with two friends called Forced Meme Productions. We produced a meme-themed Halloween party Hallowmeme for five years, as well as a collaboration with NYC's Rhizome called The Emoji Art + Design Show. In 2012 we created and hosted an interactive screening of When Harry Met Sally at The Bell House that was covered by The New Yorker, New York magazine and Time Out New York.
